I got a new computer recently, and while running this game I was quickly made aware of an issue that certain gamemaker games have on certain hardware, which caused this game to incorrectly cap the framerate at 45fps rather than 60fps for some people, slowing the whole game down by a rather significant amount. I don't blame anyone for not noticing this and reporting it sooner because they had no idea of knowing the intended speed, so it's a good thing I caught on to it... eventually.

So yeah, anyway, that should be fixed now. Just figured I'd  say something about it  in case this makes a difference to anyone!
