Combat and level design overhaul


It's been a while, but I'm finally updating the version of the game on this page. There aren't any new levels available, but the first three levels and bosses, as well as the controls and the player's moveset have been adjusted, polished, balanced, and upgraded a significant amount.

Everything is much smoother and more fair in general. However, there's still a lot of placeholder graphics, missing tiles, offcenter menus, and all sorts of stuff that I'll get around to working on eventually when I'm done with the gameplay (after all, when it comes to the parts of the game that aren't audio I'm only a one-woman team!)

I'll probably be updating this version a few times during development of the full game; eventually it'll probably end up staying as a demo version, and some features may or may not be added or restricted to that end.

Just player through the first level last night and I can't wait to play more. All the tweaks and adjustments feel really good and this game feels like it's really evolving into a SUPER COOL HYPE adventure! Can't wait to see the rest of it :D
