For those of you not following my frequent updates in the Discord server, here's a brief little nudge to let the itch.io people know that the project is still on track.

Several of the new major features are pretty much complete (this includes a fancy new animated stage select menu and light visual novel style character interaction scenes), and a significant amount of other tweaks have been made to the gameplay, level designs, and difficulty balancing as well.

There's not much further to go until the final update! A couple more of those bigger features, some playtesting, a scattering of additional tweaks, and some sprite-drawing and dialog-writing are all that's left. I'm super ready to be moving on to another project and leaving this one behind, so apart from bug fixing and whatnot this next version will be the last until further notice.
